Abby Adams
Abby brings over a decade of experience in marketing, leasing, and customer service, with leadership roles ranging from General Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car to Executive Director and Interim Regional VP at Holiday/Atria Retirement. With a heart for service shaped by the wisdom of her grandmothers, Abby joined MorningStar in April 2023, inspired by the organization’s genuine commitment to honoring and uplifting seniors. Her passion lies in creating moments that celebrate life, guided by the belief that we become our best selves through the lessons of those who came before us.
Director of Community Relations
Haylee Ergenekan
Haylee joined MorningStar in May 2024, bringing with her a distinguished background in luxury hospitality and over seven years of success in senior living sales and marketing. Known for crafting meaningful experiences and cultivating strong referral networks, Haylee blends her hospitality roots with a heartfelt dedication to serving seniors—whom she views as resilient teachers of joy, community, and grace. A passionate connector, she leads initiatives like Morning Connections and the Westies network to strengthen industry collaboration and honor the transformative power of shared stories and service.
Executive Chef
Nate Weaver
Nate joined MorningStar of Hillsboro as Executive Chef in October 2023, bringing with him a global culinary journey that includes feeding everyone from celebrities and presidents to everyday people with extraordinary stories. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Portland and with a decade of senior living culinary leadership, he’s passionate about elevating expectations in senior dining—serving meals with heart, dignity, and a touch of storytelling. For Nate, sharing a meal is about connection, and he believes the best dishes are those served with respect, humor, and a genuine appreciation for the lives behind every seat at the table.
